heart beats fast, mind goes slow

You waited for me to want you. You waited for me to need you. You waited for me to love you. You waited for everyone to know. You waited for me to believe you were there. You waited for me to think you cared. You waited for me to want love that would never be there. You waited for everyone to be around, to spin me around and knock me on the ground. For me to realize what a waist of time loving you was and how i would never come back because for once i was finally done. I was done waiting to realize you weren't the one. <3
